Pelican M3 with SSC p4

Here's my second newbie mod project.

This time, I needed soldering

I got SSC P4 U-bin from dealextreme, and put it into Pelican M3 which originally with lux 3W with nice throw and overall brightness.

Here are the pics.

p1dce was on high.
M3+ssc gives wider beam than the original and p1dce.
The beamshots looks p1dce is brighter, but I feel M3+ssc is almost as bright or brighter as p1dce high.

good job! I have modded quite a few of these, and they all turned out well. should have improved the tint as well. all I have seen were very purple stock.

Hi, Pumaman,
I was about to send you PM to let you know my mod and thank you for your tips.
Actually the tint is clear white. Wrong white balance of camera makes the pics blue.
It was fun anyway!
