Hello. I want to use a Pelican M6 with pressure switch on a 12 ga shotgun. Will it stand up to the recoil? Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks

Pelican M6 came out with a LED version. Coming out soon. It's a 1 watt led. No bulb to burn out.

But the whole idea is to have a super bright light on the shotgun.

I was witness to impromptu testing of several flashlights tested with a Beretta 1201FP entry weapon. No scientific methods here, folks. These lights were simply duct-taped to the Beretta (and several others shoulder weapons).

The Pelican peformed well except that it kept going out focus. Generous amounts of pipe thread teflon tape applied until the lamp housing would not move except with a vice did the trick. I don't know if any aftermarket tape switches will fit the M6.

I'm planning on mounting the PILA GL3R on my benelli Nova. Surefire doesn't make a dedicated forend for the benelli. I would prefer the GL2R as it uses one battery and would be more "recoil" resistant, but PILA doesn't make a long enough tape switch. The GL3 will provide about 100 lumens. I tried to contact Surefire and couldn't get an answer concerning a tape switch for the G2, I would use that with a PILA 168s and a tape switch if they make one long enough for a pump gun.

SureFire don't do coiled cables that I'm aware of but will make the Sxx as long as you need it (xx = inches of cable length)
