NYCKS will be on November 21-23 -- Friday through Sunday. Entry fee is $15 for one day or $25 for all three days. It is at Crowne Plaza Hotel, near Times Square.

There are some sub-$100 knives but a lot fall over the $200+ range. Pretty much everything is for sale but if you don't want to spend money it can be a great time anyway.

Since many of the people who came to PF11 were interested in knives it seemed only logical to go to NYCKS together.

I was planning on going Friday but if that doesn't work out for the majority, Saturday or Sunday would be equally fine.

I could make it on that Saturday. Maybe we can all go have some dinner afterwards as well.

and don't forget to show off your tactical light with assault crown along with your newly purchased machete next to some old lady or tourists as you follow them crossing the streets! might be cold by then so be sure to wear a ski mask! must cover the whole face, carry the Koran as well! videotape their expressions and bring the video to the next get-together!

NYCKS is fast approaching!

Anyone wants to meet up please check in here.

WadeF -- Maybe
AnimalHousePA -- Maybe
Kid9P -- No

Carrot,

As much as I want to go, I'm going to have to pass due
to my recent job cut.

Maybe next time around.

Add me to the list, even though I am not a knife guy. I will meet up with you for dinner.

Check me in Carrot. I'll be there on Saturday with a buddy of mine. Wives may be with us after the show.

Question: Is everything sold by Saturday? I was hoping to pick up a Hinderer or a CR knife. Just wondering if anything would be left.

Looking forward to my 1st knife show!

Last two times I went there were no CR.

Last year, Hinderer was a lotto for three XM-18's -- if you wanted one you'd take half a card (deck of playing cards) and if he drew the other half from a bowl you'd get the chance to buy it. Pretty sure that was all on Friday.

If you want anything rare or popular COME FRIDAY! I'll probably be hanging around on Friday too.

Figures:( Saturday is still the day for me though. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Kid9P sorry to here of your troubles, hope things look up soon!

sledhead, there are purveyors there that buy and sell knives, so if you have anything expensive you want to get rid of, some of them may be interested. Good way to get some spare cash for new toys at the show.

didnt see em on the list, but if Graham Knives is there check out their new folders if you can! they look amazing, would love to hear some feedback. eyeing the Wharn for sale online...

My wife and kids are going shopping or to a play during the day. She is looking for a great place for dinner for us. Probably it will be an upscale steakhouse or Italian restraint in the times square area (walking distance).

Anybody want us to join us? If so let me know now and we will get reservations for a larger party.

Cheers
Dave

You can put me down as a solid maybe. If I can make it, I would do both the show and dinner afterwards on Saturday. I will know better in a day or two.
