Phantom Warrior light system

I have a Phantom Warrior Tactical light that is 85 lumen led 85 lumen green illumination and 65 lumen tactical infrared friend or foe light. Here's my question, Has anyone here ever used this light in the outdoor environment with NVG and how effective is the IR light??? And I have both first gen and second gen in which the second gen does not have the filter lens and all you have to do just twist the cap and it would automatically turn into different color like the pic below.

I dunno if anyone cares about the original question any more, but I tried it inside -- it's on par with the Surefire helmetlight for brightness and focus. However, the baffle around the business end limits the width of the spill much like a Photon with the Covert Tip. It's very much a close-range worklight in both IR and visible mode, though I've only worked with the first generation model.
