I have bought a Philips SpotOn light some weeks ago
Now it is time for a little review:
The light is meant to illuminate small spaces like closets or places were it is not efficient to place an electric light. I think it is meant as an competitor to the (inferior) Osram Dotlight : because the size and the price (under 10 euros/14 dollars) is about the same.
The main advantage of the Philips SpotOn is that it automaticly turns on for 15 seconds if you come close to it (or other large movements) because of its IR eye
The SpotOn has three small white light and puts out around 5-10 lumes
the back is attached with magnets so it is easy to change the 3x AAA (included).
I have used it for more than three weeks now and the light output is has not changed (on the same batteries). The light has been on for more than a hour in those three weeks (did some motorcycle repairs)
verdict :
man this thing is handy!!!
I like it so much that I need another one for in my trunk/my closeds/my bedroom and all the other dark places
