Anyone have the before and after pic? I just got my bulbs in from Brinkmann but I dont have a camera. The Nexstar bulbs are brighter but I cant really tell how much brighter by looking at the beams a couple seconds apart (changing the bulbs back and forth). TAI

The OEM Mag 2AA bulb draws 0.30 amps
The Nexstar @AA bulb is said to draw 0.45 amps.

It is easier to find a Radio Shack replacement bulb that draws 0.43 amps. That's what are in mine at the moment. I imagine that the Brinkmans should be about 5% brighter.

What I'd like to find is a T-1 bulb that will run with Nimh's or Lithiums and is rated at 2.4 V or less and 0.70 to 0.85 amps. That would provide normal premium 2D alkaline brightness with a run time of about 2 hours.

Hmmm. The problem is, I have WriteRight on all my upgraded lights now (inside the lens) so they seem to put out about as much light as stock, but in a smoother pattern. And the other problem is that I've trashed all my stock bulbs. Damn. Sorry about that, I totally forgot...

FNG,
I have your pictures, but couldn't get them stored on Image Station & don't know how to post them directly, so I'll email them to you. TX
edit:
I emailed the pictures, but it was returned as undeliverable. ???
