Hello all!

I got an L1 Lumamax a while ago and have been looking at the Lx2 now, If any of you could be so kind as to post your pics of it that'd be sweet! Im trying to get a feel for the size. I have a 6p e1e and L1 so if you have any of those and an Lx2 please let me see them next to each other:)
Also thoughts on this light are good as well, Is it worth it? I know Ill be getting the Lx1 as soon as it comes out but I figured the Lx2 should hold me up for a while! :D
thanks to all who reply!

well.. I'll get some pics to you, just buy one, and send it to me! :grin2:
before you start whipping out that credit card, there's a little box to the left of the "logged in" box that says "google search"

now, what I did was type in "LX2" prod the 2nd link for a review. :poke: <-- like what's happening to the blue guy there.

edit: revised post because I was too rude! :(

hey spyder i don't have any pictures to show you as i don't own one,

but to the one person that did respond: I thought this was a community of people trying to help each other! You don't have to be so sarcastic and pompous, even if 1000 newbies asked the same question you shouldn't respond like that, a professional response, maybe a helpful link since you did all the work and couldn't even link it to him, and on top of that, you went out of your way to find the information, brag about finding it, and then not even provide it to this guy, if you don't have anything useful to say, don't say anything.

I get so sick of people being answered with "go google it" as if its that hard for someone who has been around here to google and post a link. I know thats the first thing people are supposed to do, and i have read all the stickies, but answering in that manner is very discouraging to people just starting out here.

and here is the link that he referred to LX2

and no G2L? i thought that was the jumping off point for all SF enthusiasts with humble (read:broke) beginnings lol

Nah no G2L, but that isn't my entire collection either.

I do like my aluminium! Although I will have to try a nitrolon body soon.

SpyderHS08, if you would like specific shots let me know... I'm not doing much today

thanks!!

I apologize to the OP if I came off as sounding rude. Now that I re-read my post, I realize it did not include the appropriate smiley to show that I was joking around.

Again, that was all meant as a joke. I apologize if that came out wrongly. I thought quick tutorial on how to use the search function would help if he actually tried it out.

Yeah, but it doesn't take very long to try out the search function as I told him where it was, told him what specific keywords he should try out, then pointed to a link I thought was useful.

:awman: I got my rear end kicked.
SpyderHS08, :welcome:.. I am sorry I did not do so earlier.

csshih all is forgiven my friend, i didn't want to come across as harsh as that was, i have just read a lot of those "screw yourself and google it" posts lately which kind of defeat the point of this community, my apologies for being an ornery butthole

Perfect dimerazorback!! thanks :D

and csshih, the pictures I was looking for were more comparison like he just posted, obviously I'd seen the Lx2 before but I needed the shots of it next to the other lights, which I had searched for and not found..Thanks for clearing things up though,
Im glad to be a part of cpf!

DimeRazorback your a new guy here right?
I'm speechless.
You obviously live at home with Mum and Dad, have a very good job :eek:oo:, or a huge credit card bill :sick2:
Norm

I live at home at the moment, and I also have a fairly well paying job.
I don't do credit though.

I do work hard

We just had a massive hail storm, and the whole neighbourhood was covered in 4 inches of hail...
My gutters overflowed and water came into our kitchen via the light fittings...
Flooded kitchen...

I just got off my neighbours roof now actually.
I spent 3 hours clearing the hail off my roof, above the kitchen... it was about a meter deep (no wonder the drain overflowed).
Then cleared all of the ice off my neighbours pergola for 2 hours, which nearly caved in from the weight...

There are more pics of the aftermath on my other camera.

Sorry to hear about the damage at home.
Just reread my last post, I hope it didn't sound rude, I meant to sound astounded, but I might have missed the mark.
Cheers Norm
