The beam of my EastWardYJ (YJ-XGR2) XR-E.R2 is very ringy and the hotspot was a little off centered (shifted (?)) compared to all those rings.
I tried to look as closely as I could but it was not obvious when the flashlight is turned off so I tried to watch with 2 pairs of sunglasses while switched on. It was too bright in low mod. So I searched and returned my cardboards to find a kodak (very dense) infrared filter.
The emitter was slightly shifted.
After playing with the screwdriver, I took the camera and here is what look like switched on emitters (click to enlarge).
