Pila charger & batteries

I just received a pila AC charger and 2 x batteries to use with my SF L4 today and put the batteries on charge for what I thoguth would be the 10hour charge time.

The LED's on the charges went form red to green after less than an hours charging?

Do I need to keep them on chrage for the ten hours please?

I dont want to wreck the batteries by over or under charging them to I need an answer sooner rather than late please /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Typically, it taks 3 hours to charge 168s when fully drained. New batteries tend to be anywhere from fully charged to 80% charged as shipped. It seems that this changes with batchs.

Leaving them on the charger will not hurt anything. You can leave them on the charger as long as you like. You can also pull them off the charger half charged to use with no ill effects to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks for that, I was a bit worried about the first charge the way they tell you to keep your mobile phone on the charger over night the first time.
