Member PONTIAKER (Matt) recently did some cosmetic changes to my beloved TI Bitz.

I have been fascinated by his beautiful EX10 ( http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=223669&highlight=ex10 ) so I tought my Bitz could be modified with an artistic touch.

Here it is !

You should send that to Chip to have it splash anodized..

Nice butt
Pontiaker is transforming useful tools into a higher form of art. Amazing!

That is great! Much better than the normal Bitz. I didn't realize there was so much extra material in the sides of the bitz either. It must have really nice thick sides!

**EDIT*** Nevermind, I just realized i was thinking of the Horus Ti light. The Bitz already has that shape. Still looks good, but I thought a lot of material was removed to make that shape...

Arrrgghhh! Pics side by side. :hairpull: It's like having a 700 X 1575 pixel image. Sucks even on a 22" flat panel.

Been seeing a bit much of this lately. Do people not realize?

Nice work, Matt!

Edit: Just to drive the point home, I had to scroll all the way to the right to hit edit.

Real reason for edit - That clip needs to be fired instead of splash ano'd.

I really don't know why you are seing it like this:thinking: I tried in IE, Seamonkey, Firefox, Safari and all pictures are in line, not side by side...

Is there anyone else that see them side by side ?

I see the pics side by side in IE7. No problem with Firefox.
Maybe spacing the pic links would solve this?

Yep, looks fine now.
Is the blue color anodizing? Will it wear off?

Yes, the body has been anodized with a light blue shade. I should hold pretty well but still can be scratched.

The tail is a Matt creation and he has named this "The Fizz Treatment".

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The Ano can wear with EDC use but only on the high spots. The color in the low spots should last a LONG time. It can also always be redone when it starts looking shabby.
Thanks!
Matt
