please comment on POWEREX C and D size nimh battery

To all battery guru:

Before I pull the trigger on the deal for 12 x D and 6 x C size cell.

Please comment on the performance of Powerex C and D size nimh battery!!

Is it worth the bang for the buck or...........?:thinking:

Are they proper 'C' and 'D' cells or just 'AA' cells in 'C' and 'D' sized wrappers?

A proper 'C' cell will have a capacity of at least 3000mah and a proper 'D' at least 4000mah perhaps as high as 12000mah.

Are they low self discharge?

The C cells are 5000mAh and the D cells are 11000mAh.

I personally have their AA cells for my camera and they are very excellent. The AA are 2000mAh, and if I compare them to my Energizer 2500mAh batteries, the Powerex beats them hands down, like 3 times the usage before recharge.

If only Maha made odd sizes like 18650 and such......then they would have my business.
