Please Help with my Princeton Tec Impact(s)

Can anyone please tell me the differences between the PT Impact and the PT Impact XL??? I would like to know what type of LED is installed in the XL vs. the Impact. I don't THINK the LED in the XL is the Luxeon Star....but am I wrong? Also, if anyone can tell me the difference in light ouput, that would be great!!! Thanks

The LED in the XL is a Luxeon Star.

The Luxeon Star is the only 1 watt LED out there currently.

I am currently waiting for one for review.

Quickbeam....could I expect about the same performance of the CMG Reactor 3?? Or even better brightness since there is an extra AA??

My sporting goods store has a few left for 32 bucks...will probably get one if you think it's a decent light.
