My wife and I bought a vacation house in the NC woods and need to buy several flashlights.
Looking for 2-3 Serious flashlights.

1) Online
2) Around $20-35 per light
3) Flashlight
4) Small Size
5) Don't know about Emitter/Light Source
6) Don't care about Mfg
7) Rechargeable 2 Batteries: AA (like Eneloop)
8) Only experience is Nitecore EA41 and that goes up to 1,000 which is important if we have to find dog. However my wife generally uses it at its lowest setting. Size is a little too big but function is fine.
9) Don't know Flood vs Throw.
10) Flex on Runtime. Most times using it on low settings but anticipate requirement for high setting on occasion.
11) Durability/Usage - Slightly important.
12) Any switch will do. Prefer on top instead of on the back. Don't like too many settings.
Like body mounted switch but not important enough compared to other priorities.
13) High/Med/Low settings are perfect. (Not complicated/not programmable). No SOS. No Strobe. Important.
14) No preference on material/finish/coating.
15) IPX4 or 7 is fine.
16) Storage in house

Also, looking for probably a half dozen Single AA Eneloop flashlights (cheapies) for using in the house to keep in various drawers. Tiny Size.

Thanks in advance

Sofirn SP10 V3.0 Mini EDC

Priced at $20 w/battery + charger. Runs 14500 or AA batteries. Doubt it will hold 1k/L for long but they claim 1k/L.

I like the suggestion of the SOFIRN light and AA option.
If I wanted a 2 cell AA NiMH option, is there one?

Lumintop Tool 2.0 AA. Single AA/14500 cell, low, med, high, higher for modes. Has tail switch but can also be switched by twisting head slightly. Works fine with AA but will be significantly brighter with 14500 rechargeable cell.
AA can be alkaline, NiMH, or Lithium primary. I would NOT recommend alkaline as they almost always leak and really mess up a light. Can be found for around $20 - look on Amazon or almost any of the major battery/light sellers online.
