I thought this one turned out kind of neat, even though it was purely accidental; (I lost my program settings when I changed batteries)

Here is the link to a larger image (150K) Legend becomes Myth

If anyone cares, I'll tell you where the picture was taken and post another photo of what it really looked like with the proper camera settings.

Silviron....

Some of the best pics ever, were accidentts.
My next trick is going to be trying to get more sun glares in the shot.

There is a filter in Paint Shop Pro 8 that does exactly that, John (I'm sure that PhotoShop does too).

I wish there was a one button click that could GET RID of the lens flares: I get too many of them---- Keep forgetting to use my lens hood /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I havent had much trouble with them. LOL, actually, I that was one of my first ones,, an accident,, but cool looking. I am going to try to do a few on porpuse, in a good setting.

BTW... Everyone should try ACDSEE... Great image viewer, with many options, very fast also,,, for resize, rotate, color, brightness, etc. and COMPRESSES the pics to around 1/3 to 1/4 their original file size,,,, with NO badd effects, cant even tell the difference !!!

Side Note: My wife and I both had, uh, odd sense of humor problems. We used to leave a very plush, deluxe photo album out on the coffee table labeled "Best Vacation Photos, Tom and Connie."

Inside was a "special" selection of photos arranged and labeled just so we could see people's responses.

You've all had tha camera go "CLICK!" just as you were getting out of the car, or dropping something, or stuffing it in a bag or suitcase, or, well, you get the idea. We took a wide assortment of "those" kind of shots, half faces, a foot stepping onto gravel, the out-of-focus edge of a suitcase, etcetera, and put them in that album.

The labels were things like "Attop Otemanu (Bird Mountain) on Bora Bora" (underexposed, out of focus pic of dirt), or "Our Hotel, Tampa" (shot of clear blue sky with edge of a roof in middle distance), or, my favorite, "Connie at Grouse Mountain" (half of one green eyeball, slightly overexposed).

We got a lot of strange looks.

Don't throw away "those pictures" - use them for entertainment ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Connie at Grouse Mountain ___________ (I can't take credit for this one - Connie took it ... )

All I really know is they looked like some kind of cabbage looking plant before getting the snow cone treatment. Some were pale yellow and some were purplish-pink.

I'm guessing those "flowers" were kale, a kind of winter cabbage.
Around here, they're mostly purple and white; but creamy yellows & greens are also occasionally found.

Could be but they were in a flower garden space I wouldn't think kale would be used for a decorative plant but I'm not a gardener. Besides I don't think the Police would like me clipping a sample to test out. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twak.gif

If one would have asked for the best shot I would have posted my copy watch killer series /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Quick look shows this one to be pretty nice - but its late
