potting compound

I potted a couple of bulbs successfully but I know it would be better if I seated the bulb in some new potting compund. What kind of potting compund do you recommend and where can I get some.

I used a regular mag bulb and broke it so I could use the PR base. Is there a place to get PR bases without having to break old ones?

I use cotronics 940LE potting compound and it works great in my application. You must buy it direct from contronics corp. for $64.95 for a pint, IIRC. Call them up or email them--they are fairly helpful. Their website is www.cotronics.com

Don't know about PR bases.
