I really like the Swiss Tool. I don't have one but my son does. He goes through whatever pouch he has had a multi-tool in, in about 6 months. He has had the Swiss Tool, in an off brand pouch, for about 5 months, the bottom is about shot. Any suggestions for a better way to carry? Leather or Kydex or ?? Sources?

Try swiss-knife.com for a factory made holsters for the swiss tool. For a long-life pouch have a custom, bridal leather sheath or nylon pouch made.Contact Desertraven.com for quality leather custom work. For custom nylon try Desertspecialties.com,they make some extremely tough stuff for military&law enforcement.Although they may still be backlogged with military orders. These are two recommendations that I am happy with due to the high-quality of work. Not cheap, though. Most search engines will produce a pretty decent list of vendors who make custom leather and nylon sheaths/pouches.Hope this helps.

I'm not sure if they have anymore, but the gun magazine holster I got free with my swisslight order from COUNTYCOMM.COM fits my Swisstool very well. It's made of what appears to be seatbelt grade nylon webbing; thick and very well made. It has a velcro flap and vertical and horizontal carry options built in. It's even better than the original Victorinox holster, which I lost.
If they don't have any more, try a gun shop or police supply and bring the tool with you to see which magazine holster fits best.
