Lighthouse one
Flashlight Enthusiast
I keep reading good things about these lights. Had to get one finally. I got it here http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-VECTOR-HID-...ryZ16037QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I only have one other HID- a 15 MCP Cyclops that was converted, and it has tremendous spill, but not a very strong spot.
This light is well built- solid, 9 pounds. I was worried it would be cheap and flimsy...no way! 6000k bulb> in all honesty, I don't know what that compares to, but the beam is nice and white for me. I took it spotting deer tonight. The trees were green and the ground was brown...works for me! I love the beam! Tight and strong. There is a decent spill-- but the strong spot is just excellent. My son had the light, and wouldn't give it up! Lit up a full tree at 800(?) feet. Shined it down a straight section of road...blew away my car lights on high. Over 1500 is my estimate for good strong light. I couldn't think of any good excuse to buy one...but you don't need any! IT's just that good! 5 stars! Highly recommended!:twothumbs
