im looking to power up my lights......i only have 2 AW C cells which i'll have to use for my 2C MAG61 cause i've been told IMR26500's cannot be used!

what about my 2C FM WA1160 & my 2C MAG60, can i use IMR26500's or AW18650's in these two lights!

The WA 1160 can handle between 5.5 and 7.6 volts. It could handle a bit more, but you'll be flirting with instaflashing your bulbs. 5.5 volts would barely light the bulb, giving you about 400 lumens, and 7.4 volts would overdrive the bulb and would give you about 1,000 lumens, but reduce the bulb life from +/- 550 hours to +/- 3 hours.

So 2 x 3.7volt 18650's would be great for that bulb. IF the C batteries are 3.7volt, 2 would give you a better runtime than the 18650's.

i was trying my 2C MAG60 out beside my 2C MAG61 and it was just as bright:huh:

2C MAG11 not as bright as either.....so i sold the bulbs!

i might try and get a few beam shots when i get the same reflectors for both lights...............thanks for you comments!!!
