I purchased an H30, when they were first released, which had the initial problems of the first design. I returned it for the newer design when they were recalled and at first I was very disappointed with the reduced output and the blueish tint, as compared with the perfect (?) yellowish tint of my first H30. However, I've been using this replacement H30 everyday day now for reading in bed, walking at night, etc. and it has proven itself to be a 100% reliable piece of gear. I highly recommend the H30, but I'm now looking forward to the release of the H60 which I'm hoping will make a nice headlamp for riding my bicycle with, at night.
