Hmm... I placed an order last Sunday for a AAA UV, got notice on Monday it shipped Priority with a DC#... Except here it is Saturday, and the only record of shipment is "electronic shipping info received" via USPS... :sigh: Has this actually been shipped?!?

Order placed for an ARC6 W/guarded sleeve. Hope it does'nt take too long to arrive in UK. Been tempted by this light for ages, what a good price its selling at now.

Yes, it has been shipped.

Remember from one my posts awhile back (and also a note in our FAQ on our website), the USPS number is not a tracking number. Don't expect it to provide any information about where you package is. If you want a tracking number, use Fedex.

Btw people, this is the time of year that USPS looses the most packages. Be careful when you choose your carrier.

Same here sideman 7, I got an email saying it was shipped on the 16th. USPS site says they got electronic shipping information on the 17th, but no light. It should have been a two day trip. There is no way it should not have been here. I ordered something that was shipped from France priority mail and it arrived in Iowa in 4 days.

Peter,
Thanks for the respsonse. I am quite aware how delivery confirmation works. I know origin scans are completely dependent on the locality, some areas do them, some don't. All my incoming USPS (with DC) show arrival info the night before. My concern is that it has been a week and there is no sign of a package that should have been here in 2-3 days... In the mean time, I have received a parcel post package from the opposite side of the county that was shipped two days later than I received your shipping notification...

I decided to ask you directly what was happening because I called on Friday to see what was going on and was told "we don't guarantee USPS shipments" which seemed like a really odd answer to my question... Plus, I have been on both sides of this shipping thing and know as a merchant this is a ridiculous thing to say. Aside from pissing off customers, this is a battle the merchant will lose every time... Anyway, I hope it shows up or is resolved soon. At least it appears I am not alone here...

And as far as USPS loosing more packages this time of year... From my experience, USPS, FedEx, and UPS all pretty much screw up about the same...

cnw4002 and sideman7, I sympathize with your packages not arriving as expected. I have given Maria and Anna permission to replace lost USPS packages (even though our website says otherwise) at their discretion. Usually, they will want to wait awhile to make sure it doesn't arrive (they seem to always arrive right after we ship out the replacement).

jamesmtl514, thank you for your support!

Thanks for the sale. I've wanted a arc6 for quite a while. Order placed last night.

Your email said it was sent 11/16/09, but the post office says it never received the electronic shipping information until 11:40 PM on the 17th might be part of the reason it is not here yet.

Still nothing here and it's been a week. Either these didn't make it to the post office or there is some problem at your local post office... :sigh:

I just want the light. I'm just trying to figure out when or if it was shipped. Your email said shipped on the 16th while the USPS says it got the electronic notification at almost midnight on the 17th. Most other times I have had stuff shipped that way the post office didn't get the product for a couple of days or more after getting the notification. I'm just wondering what is going on. I just ordered some from Massachusetts and if got here in 2 days. A light from another company got here in 3 days.

I want to help. Please send an email to me at [email protected] with your name and order number. I can then research what happened. I am sorry for the delay you have experienced.

I am turning off the USPS option until after christmas. We will only be offering FedEx.

Hey, we may be getting somewhere... I am seeing a Phoenix scan as of tonight! So it took over a week to move 20 miles or so (?!?!?)... Might be here Friday or Saturday if they don't fumble again...
