Prevent corrosion with Galvanic Series chart

By using materials that are very close together, you can significantly reduce corrosion issues. Additionally, you can make sacrificial anodes which are designed to corrode first out of materials like magnesium:

Any time. Notice how close 340 Stainless Active (non-passivated) is close to Aluminum. 202 Passivated Stainless screws in aluminum would be a nightmare over time...

Don't forget about sacrifical anodes like Magnesium, if you need them...
