looking for a cordless 9.6, who has the best price? should i look at another brand?

comments/suggestions welcome.

tkl,

I just bought a corded one recently. I got it from Home Depot, best price that I can find. The cordless 9.6v model your looking at is Dremel model 7700, Home depot's price is $39.90

i think that's the 7.2 for $40. the 9.6 is model 7800 and is $60. unless i'm missing something.

i need the 9.6 cause the 7.2 won't as slow (5000rpm) as i need.

opps, my bad.

Model 7800 is 9.6v $60
Model 7700 is 7.2v $40

I looked at quite a few sight when I bought my corded one, and no one came close to Home Depot's price, plus they had this trade in thing at the time (I gave them my 15 year old dremel that needed brushes, and they gave me $25 credit towards my new one).

i think i'm going to check out sundays paper and see if anybody has them on sale but home depot will probably be the place to get it.

I got a 3.6V one a few months ago when my corded one blew the bearings. It was 20 bucks with 2 batteries and some low end accessories. It actually works better than I thought it would. I still need a corded one though. I can't walk into sears without buying something. I'm also a toolaholic, with tendencies towards craftsmanaholism.
