Thanks for the review! I purchased several new lights recently for search and rescue work in New Hampshire, and a few other rangers feel that this will most likely be the main workhorse, i.e. something we can have at hand (maybe 4 or 5 sitting around at various places) and use all of the time, except when we need much more powerful lights. I've used it hiking at night and found it be very good for that purpose.
