Princeton Tech Apex Extreme Mod Upgrades

Hi All,

New here. I have an older 200 Lumens Princeton Tec Apex Extreme. I see that they still make these, but in 650 Lumens. Is there any way to upgrade the LED to the new 650 Lumens? I figured since they already make 650 Lumens, it should be fairly simple. Thanks!

Do you have the equipment and skill to re-flow a LED emitter onto the star?

Do you know anything about the specific driver in your HL?

Do you know anything about the specific LED in your HL?

Do you know how to take apart your HL and reassemble it?

You'd first need to know the answers.
