I recently got a hold of some Li-ion camcorder battery packs from a respectable enough brand. They have protection circuitry in them. I've soldered plugs on them that let me charge them on a universal Li-ion battery charger and plug them into a headlamp.
I want to use a smaller battery pack in a headlamp project, but the voltage and size are not quite right with just one. So I will need to use 2 battery packs in series.
Is this a bad idea?
Will they need to be charged as individual packs, or can I charge both of them together?
