Because I didn't want to hijacking TIBIM post http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=162784 I decide to ad a new one with some additional pictures and information's.

I use SSC P4 U bin + IMS17.
I did almost everything like TIBIM explain and just add a heatsink for SSC P4.

BEAMSHOTs:
On my pictures original EOS is always on the left. I am not an expert on beamshots, camera settings (ISO 400, F2.8, NR15), distance to the wall 0.5m

interesting... how did you attach it to the headlamp? did you alum epoxy it to the star?

good idea! thanks for sharing! i assume that ring is aluminum right?

IMHO at 300mA SSC P4 star doesn't get too hot anyway, so it does not meter what kind of material you use aluminum, copper, iron,... if original EOS is made without anything than it is more than enough just to transferee some heat from the star, many people does this mod without any heatsink,...

I don't know the right word for this stuff I use, but it is simple ring you use it with screw to get larger surface than the head of the screw is,...

As you can see on the picture I use the original black holder to hold my SSC P4 in place so I don't need to epoxy the star. I just use Arctic Silver 5.

That'd be a 'washer'
