Quality Purple Flashlights?

The only two I know of, I've bought: The Fenix EO1 and the Mini-Mag incan, the bulb of which was swapped out for a Terralux.

I seem to recall that Mag used to make colored D or C cell lites, but I can't remember if purple was one of the colors. I'd love a purple C-cell Mag.

I also know I've seen pics of a purple Surefire A2, but I don't know if that was factory original or an aftermarket, custom job. I'd grab a purple G2 or 6P in a heartbeat, but I think any other factory purple Surefire would be way out of my budget.

I think SolarForce would make a fortune if they made the L2s in a variety of colors.

Also Fenix really needs to make the LD01 in, at least, olive. I think if they did it in purple and blue, like the E01, and could come up with a bright green they'd sell very well.

Streamlight would also do well to make their excellent little Microstream in colors, including purple. I think they make the Stylus Pro in a few colors (not purple :() but I've only found black ones for sale.

Any one know of any other quality purple lights????

That's so weird! I just came over to CPF to post almost the same question.

I know the SureFire Winelights (no longer in production) are a nice anodized purple, but there are no LED models.

I'll let you know if I find any more...

I picked up a custom acid dyed purple Surefire G2 from Nikon in the marketplace.

he orignally made 2 purple lights and i got to pick one of them. Nikon did an excellent job. It was reasonably priced as well.

Mag made some purple 2C lights which Home Depot used to carry, but are now out of production. You could always post in the marketplace with a WTB, someone's got to have one.

Purple's a standard color for 2D and 3D Maglites, and I still see the purple 2C at local Home Depots.

Keep in mind that you can take any aluminum light to your local powdercoating shop and have it turned into whatever color and finish you want.

The purple Minimag + UV drop-in is always a fun combo :party:

Yeah, the WineLights E1W and E2W are probably surefire's only production lights with any other color apart from the G2 series.

now I'm sure Size15s A2 is a well known light being symbolically superior despite the similarity in output with a lowly A2-HA-WH...but who cares, its purple!:nana:
