Query: what\'s the difference between a 1 and 5W LS

Simple question: what's the external difference between a 1W and a 5W LS? The internal differences I know of, but is there actually a way to tell the difference - the star board heavier or something?

The star board is heavier and the yellow "buisness end" (the part the puts out the light) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif is 4 times larger.

if there's no optic in the way on the 5W you can actually see the 4 - 1W Die

The 5w lead frames are also twice as wide as the 1w. This will be changing in the near future when the 3w is released. The 3w will utilize the 5w lead frame and I presume that this will carry over to the 1w as the 1w and 3w are virtually the same emitter. I hope this helps.
