All of my IMR AW cells look just like that, with the little AW sticker. So looks OK to me!

A few months ago they did not look that way, but maybe AW has added the approvals during the summer?

Can CE apply to batteries though? I remember that one of major certifications - either CE or UL - didn't apply to raw Li-Ion cells.

My two IMR 16340s that I got a couple of weeks back, from LightHound, look just like your cell.

'CE, RoHS, Recycle symbol and No Trash symbol'. Made In China, the little AW sticker and the battery type printed out on the wrapper.

+1, just got a few hundred IMR. Same treatment across all sizes. Its real.
