I'm currently building a triple Cree setup much like this; http://myfwyc.org/bikeled/DIY_LED_Bike_Lighting_Guide.html
I need to spec a Momentary switch for the light and don't know what to buy.
Do I need a normal-off or normal-on unit?
Can I use a regular on-off switch?
I'm using a 3021-D-E-1000 buck puck with the dimming capability.

Thanks, Eric S

Use the Radio Shack part number Allen posted and get the Rat Shack people to find it for you. You have a choice of red or black. Allen used black. I'm in Canada and I forgot but one of the switches costed more by 50cents or $1.00 for the same thing. I got red and black as I have plans on building another unit for friends, helmet, or the oh sh-- I need a light weight spare light.

You just need a momentary switch that is rated at 3A that is normally open. While checking my local supply store they have lots of switches but I got the one Allen posted just to aviod squibbles with my first build. the local elec. store I think has 5A momentary switches but they are larger which I think is to accomedate the larger amp rating.

Hope that helps some.
