I'm planning on making a 5x SSC P7, 2 cree r4 light. I want to power it with two macbook pro batteries. I want to use this driver to power the 5 p7s: http://www.taskled.com/hipcc.html
I want to power the r4s with this driver: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.26110
However the macbook pro batteries each put out 10.8 volts and I need to wire them in series to power the p7s, so 21.8 volts. But the dx cree r4 driver says it can only be used up to 18 volts, would it be ok to use this?
I could use this: http://www.ledsupply.com/03023-d-e-1000.php, but its expensive.
This is one idea, oops the 18 volt driver's red wire should be connected to the plus.
Would this work?
