Question: Number Of Flashlights

So...............yeah. I just spent more money on another unneeded flashlight today. I have a problem.

Who here thinks they have too many flashlights?

Or is that a dumb question?

Let's see if I can parse the question a bit differently.

I have enough lights for virtually every purpose which requires lighting to accomplish. My baseline lighting needs are well met.

I also have too many lights that I just don't use; too many that are redundant; and too many that for whatever reason are now surplus to requirements. I also have too many mass-produced lights that while fully functional, just don't deliver a pleasurable experience in use. (And yes, a sale of the backups to my backups will be posted in a week or two.)

What I don't have too many of are what I call aspirational lights, those custom built, expensive creatures that require a month's salary to acquire. I will likely never have enough of my fantasy lights because I have other priorities, and because the performance bar is continually being raised.

And that keeps me interested.
