question on SF SC1/SC2

Anybody know if either of the Surefire Spare Carrier accessories will hold the MN03 lamp for the 2E2? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The SC1 will hold it but very loosely. I believe some members put a piece of foam around the bulb.

There are 2 different spares carriers, one designed to hold the MN style lamps, the other to hold the P series lamps.

There are small MN series bulbs for the Executive lights and large MN series bulbs for lights like my M6. They are nowhere close to the same size. There is no spare carrier specifically made for the MN01, MN02, and MN03, but like V8 mentioned, one of the existing ones can work with a little foam to keep the bulb from bouncing around.

The SC1 will hold the MN03 in lamp down position. The lamp will be secure without the foam with a full complement of batteries to hedge it in place otherwise you must use the foam. The SC2 may work as well but it has a higher profile and would require a foam retainer with or without batteries.
