Hello to all.
Thanks to all of you for your contributions to this forum dedicated
to the various types of flashights.
This is a very good source of information for the Flashlight Appreciator/collector.
Im interested in a Barbolight CDU-15 360 Lumens.
Is this light considered a "rechargeable" and can it be used out of water?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
PARIS.

Welcome to CPF, Paris!

It can definitely be used out of water. I'm not sure which the CDU-15 is, but I'm thinking it's the newest one that runs on li-ion batteries. That means it is definitely rechargeable. I'm not certain, but I think all off of the Barbolights are rechargeable. I've got the U-09 and it's rechargeable. It's also built like a tank!

I believe the company is about to release a new product line with more efficient/brighter LEDs (whether Cree or SSC I do not know).

Thank You Trashman, DM51 and ACMarina for your replys.
Im considering a U.K. Light Cannon HID, I have read quite alot
regarding this light.
I have the UK C8 eLed and it a great light to add to my collection.

I have a UK Light Cannon. It is very good light, extremely robust but quite bulky. It is an HID, so it doesn't produce instant light, taking a few seconds to warm up and achieve maximum brightness.

It is specifically aimed at the diving market. It has a polycarbonate body and it should not be used out of the water for more than brief periods, or it will overheat. No HID should be flashed on-off repeatedly either, as this will shorten its life.

Unless you are a diver, you should consider something else.
