Question

Hi folks,

I just ordered some Seoul P4, do I have to care about any specific things if I want to swap the LUX III in my ALPEH 1 (BB500mA)?
Will the Beam stay the same or will I get a donut hole or anything like that?

Hi folks,

my Seoul P4 arrived this morning, due to the fact, that the P4 is slightly lower than the LUXIII, I juast wanted to ask, if it is necesary to elevevate it by putting a small washer under the P4? I think the difference between the height of the dye is approx. 0.5mm. Which effect will this difference cause for the hotspot?

Finally I elevated the P4 about 0.75mm. The result is genious, the light produces much less heat tha with the LUXIII and the runtime increased dramatically! No I get nearly 3hrs at full brightness compared to 2hrs before. I don't have any opportunity for any lx reading, but my Aleph 3 has turned into a flame- throwing monster!
