Quick Topic: Luxeon K2 vs. Cree XP-G

Just a quick topic. Can someone give me a quick synopsis on a Luxeon K2 as compared to the Cree XP-G? I was wanting to know how:



What is the common amps the Cree XP-G is driven? I know that the K2 is/was usually 1.2 amps.



If both were used in a maglite with reflector, will the Cree XP-G be noticeably brighter [throw] than the Luxeon K2?
