Has anyone bought a battery and charger from these people?

web page

Also, I wonder what capacity is it? I've seen 550ma and 600ma
and even 700ma (google: wein personal air filter)

???

I've been using that charger.
Works fine, but it isn't a fast charger. The LED is red while slowly charging, and it turns green when the voltage reaches 4.15 volts.

I've also used it to charge other single cell sizes (like the 18600) as well. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Please let me know of any further info available on this charger.
I am definately interested if it has near the same capacity as the regular 123 cells.
It would be nice to be able to "top off" and have near full capacity available.

Doug, is that charger constructed in a way that it can be openned up to get to the internals? If so, I may buy one of these and take a look. Thanks.

Interestingly, the link doesn't actually come out and say that a cell is included with the charger even though the graphic would lead one to that conclusion. I wonder if a cell is actually included.

Yes, just a single phillips screw on the back allows access to the circuit.

FYI-CPFer Ninja90 sold me this charger-with the R123 about 6 weeks ago.

The battery doesn't say......
-Guessing about 600mAh...based on usage in a couple of my lights.

i believe the R123 is the one included, based on the graph and spec

What gragh and spec? I couldn't find any such link on that page.

this link

it says "comes with A battery"
and the explanation says
Battery Compatibility:

R123A, Also known as: CR17345, DL123A, K123LA, CR123, CR123A, CR123A, CR123A, EL123AP, VL123, EL123A, 5018LC

sorry, I did not meant the spec sheet on the ordinary sense (explaining the circuit and such). I meant the advertisement said so /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm buying one tommarrow and will letcha know

hey cy!

Let's get in on this together.... orders over $60 (3 units)
qualifies for free shipping. I'm thinking about calling them
tommorrow to negotiate. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If this really is Lithium Ion, would be a big improvement and a welcome sight for feeding some of my regulated lights...

A guiltlessly running McLux would be sweet.

hey 4sevens, if you indeed do a GB, i am in for one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I saw the same thing at an local electronics store
over here in germany. It goes there for 54EUR (45$)
with one Battery included. Therefore the offer mentioned
in this thread is cheap.

Cheers
Ralf
