Where can I buy Ram tailcap switches? I did a search but there isn't too much info available. I have come to the conclusion that Kroll switches stink! Time to try something else.
Thanks,
Rob

They're available at Frys Outpost.

If you think Kroll switches stink, I've a feeling your opinion of the Ram switches won't be much better.

Really? They are that bad? I have a client, Entech Controls Corp., that I have known for 11 years. His specialty is ultra-reliable switches for the railroad industry. Maybe he'd be interested in taking on a challenge of tailcap switches like the Kroll. The only problem would be the price.

I second Empath's word of caution. They might look ok but they stink. The Ram switches can't be called reliable. I've fixed one that turns on most of the time but I also hate switches that barley have a clikie feel to them. Makes em' feel cheap or something. The micro switch they use doesn't seem they're rated for anything else other than keychain LED lights which are found in them like the Coast ones. My Kroll switches are far more reliable than the two Rams that I've had. Then again I've barely experienced all the problems I here about Krolls and I use them daily. I must have some premium Krolls. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
