I've had my eye on the 3-LED Peak lights for a while because I wanted to add them to my bug-out bags. The Kilimanjaro especially for it's reputed long runtime on a single AA. something like 20-hours to 50% brightness. It has a nice snow white tint compared to the Arc AA with larger hotspot and less noticable spill because of it. Throw readings are comparable to Arc but since it has a larger hotspot it makes it more effective at distance but the Arc has a much wider flood type beam to light up closer areas better. The Kilimanjaro AA can stand on end (like all the peak models below) so it has a decent ceiling bounce for its size, to candle light a room without annoying side glare. Similar to the Arc AA. Since Peak recently discontinued the multi LED models, I figured I'd get a few different 3-LED models. They're listed below with LUX readings at 1-meter. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Nice Review. I am a big fan of PEAK. It looks like the Arc AAA has more spill than the Matterhorn but further away the Matterhorn is brighter. It's my favorite small light. All the PEAK's are fine lights.

thanks for the pics. i bought a couple peak lights for christmas presents (and 1 for myself of course/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif!! but ended up giving that to my dad /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif). i'm hoping to get more soon.

Mags: They had some issue with patent infringment of the multiple LED design so the had to stop selling them. THere's a thread with details if you do a search.

The shasta makes a nice bedside light since it doesn't have a key chain ring our lanyard hole. It's also nice because it is a tight beam that doesn't spill much to bother the person next to you and the brass is heavier so it looks nice too.
