Ray-O-Vac Headlamp

Anyone got any comments/experience with the Above light? Saw one at Target last night (been AGES since I shopped there). Says it has two whites for illuminating and a single red for preserving night vision.

Sounds like the 3-in-1 Sportsman's Head Lite. There are several Rayovac headlamps, which makes using the search function to find details difficult. At least a couple people have replaced the halogen with an LS. I'm getting one just to do that mod.

I looked close, it was one red and two whites.

Hmm, maybe I got an oddball one or maybe that was an oddball one. Then again, it could just be that that wasn't the 3-in-one. I wish mine had come with 2 whites and a red (then I would have only had to replace one LED instead of two).

If it is the 3 in one, it is actually 2 reds and a single white, though it SHOULD be the other way around as the red is QUITE bright and you don't really need two of them.
