Hi all, the lights that i own currently run off either AA primaries, NiMh rechargeables, 14500s and 18650s. I got me an Ultrafire WF-139 charger and seeing how it can charge rcr123s i am thinking of expanding my lights to include those that can run on either primary CR123s or rcr123s.

However, after doing some research here, I read that the WF-139 can only charge 3.7 volt RCR123s.

My questions:-

1. Is it correct that only 3.7 volt RCR123s can be charged in the Ultrafire Wf-139??

2. Can all lights that accept cr123s accept 3.7 volt RCR123s??

I really dont want to go get RCR123s and have to get another charger to go with it. I already have three completely separate chargers and dont want to get one specifically for 3.0 volt RCR123s.

Thanks guys.

1. Correct. Only 3.7v RCR123s can be charged in the WF-139. If you want to use 3.0v RCR123s (LiFeP04), you need the WF-138.

2. It depends on the driver for LED or the bulb for incans.
There are some lights designed to only handle CR123 voltage levels (i.e. 6V incan lights).
