I'm looking for a reasonably priced IR LED flashlight. It's not going to combat, so it doesn't need to be build like a tank, but splash-proof at least would be nice. Use will be as an illuminator through night-vision. Suggestions?

Thanks!

If you go to www.kaidomain.com and search their DIY section, you will find 1W and 3W IR LEDs on stars. This is an easy swap if you have a soldering gun on something like an Ultrafire C2. Then you'll have a SERIOUS IR illuminator...much better than crap like the Sony HVL-IRM.

This is the one on KD for $2.95.

Another option is this for $7.45+shipping from this page.

I'd put one in a Princeton Tec Eos, as I'm guessing it will work with the driver. I've actually got a couple of the KD ones beside me right now that I got specifically for that purpose.

Regards,
Eric
