Hey guys, I've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm slowly getting back into things.

Anyways, I'm buying a LD01, my first AAA light, and I will probably run lithiums in it, but I want a NIMH option as well.

What cells are recommended? The local wal-mart has Kodak, which I thought were rebranded Eneloops, but I may be wrong.

Thanks in advance!

Eneloops, Duracell Precharged made in Japan (a.k.a. Duraloops), Rayovac Hybrids, Kodack Precharged are all good cells, with the Eneloops/Duraloops being the "best"

In my L0D RB80, I used Energizer L92 Lithium primaries. Boy, was that a potent combo, until I lost the whole shebang:mecry:.
I had some Eneloop AAA's as back up when the L92's where gone. I now have AAA eneloop's and lithiums, in desparate need of a torch.

I've been using aaa Eneloops for some time and I love them. Right now I'm evaluating batteryjunction's aaa LSD Enduros. Look around for LSD cells -- in the aaa form factor they so outperform regular NiMH in many applications as to make them nearly obsolete.

I am looking at the LD01 too. Thinking of getting the stainless. I don't have a LOD but do use my E01 for EDC. I have a Kodak precharged LSD AAA in it right now. They are cheap. Paid just under 4 bucks for a package of two at WallyWorld. So far it has work out.

Once you get a LD01/L0D/LF2X you will never want to go back to an E01 for EDC.

My E01 would be given as a gift this xmas if it didn't have a ding where I dropped it on the pavement. :mecry:
