Recent changes on the M2

Have there been any changes in the last few months (or perhaps one or two years) on the Surefire M2 (Improvements, design changes etc...)?

Does anyone have some pictures of an "old-style" versus an "new-style" model?

I ask because I saw that the M2 in the new 2004 SF catalog didn't have a new design, but the other millenium models looked different.

SureFire work to improve their products all the time. There have been a variety of changes not limited to style changes that will have improved the reliability of the various seals and such.

The latest M2 I have has Serial Number B40848 and the parts making up the bezel (inside) look different to old M2 bezels I have.

I'm not sure when this change was made though.

Some time ago - could be about two years by now - some sides of the M2 body (beneath the clip if I remember correct) were changed to a flat surface. Up to that time only the M2 Strider edition had this squarish body.
