Probably been asked before but help appreciated...

i have a Nano + rcr123a AW 750 mAh, should I recharge often or wait till drained then recharge? not taking abiout the emergency kill but just normal use til it goes out sort of thing, whats best for maintaining battery life and charge?

Cheers

Li-ion batteries dont like being deep discharged you are much better charging them little and often.

Well I've read that laptop batteries need to be below 50% to recharge, laptop is using li-on batteries right?

Laptop batteries are LiIon, and like to be recharged often. If you're not actually using the battery, though, some people say discharging it to 60% and storing it in the freezer is the best option. Though you must let it warm up before using it again...

It must depend of the chemistry. The Toshiba laptop I had would recharge as soon as I plugged it. With my IBM ThinkPad, I can set a threshold (currently at 95 or 96%) before it will charge.
