Rechargeable versus Primary in Glo-toob

I recently got the new lithium glo-toobs but I've had some weird results with using rechargeables in them. I use the blue with silver label 3.7v rechargeables from Lighthound and I got about 3.5 hours of runtime in my new Glo-toob on high. I thought that seemed really low so I tried a primary and I got about 27 hours of runtime. Does anyone know why the huge difference in runtimes? These rechargeables seem to run plenty long in my other lights. By the way I tried two different rechargeable batteries in the runtime tests.

I also have Purchased a Green Glo-Toob Lithium, and am planning on using rechargable 3v green battery from lighthound. I am curious if anyone knows why alanagnostic is having this weird result?
