Rechargebles for SNII extender

I've tried 4 different kinds of 2000-2300 maH AA rechargeables, and all are just a little too thick, Lenmar 2000 and 2300's, Rayovac 2000's, Sanyo 2100's.

1850 maH Energizers work, but I'd like the longer run times if possible, anyone had any luck?
