I tried to search, but I guess search term is too short.

What is a good little AAA light? Would love a forward clicky with two modes, but will also consider twisty. Not looking to spend a fortune, just somethinh reliable.

I think a leatherman Serac might be up your alley if you are set on the clicky. If you can sacrifice the clicky, the ITP EOS is one of the best values onthe market at the moment.

The leatherman S2 has a clicky and two modes that are spaced just right. I think it is around 8-10 lumens on low and maybe 50-60 on high but could be off a lumen or two. Has a nice beam and the tint. Runs better on lithiums or LSD NiMH but this tends to be standard with most lights. I like mine and think the stainless bezel/ black body looks good.

I have heard very good things about the Leathman AAA lights, and if you desire a clicky, that might be a great starting point. Twistys are going to be much more plentiful, I would say with almost 100% certainty that for the price the Olight/ITP aluminum/titanium light is the finest available. If you want the option, check out the 4Sevens Preon and add the clicky tailcap (made of titanium) for $15. Any of these options will surely not dissapoint.

I was thinking the same thing, waiting for reviews. Although I don't need another AAA light, wait, yea, maybe, well, yea I do

I want to replace my stainless LD01 with something lighter yet equally able to stand up to keychain carry. I had pretty much settled on the TI one, pending reviews, but now I've discovered the Liteflux 2XT after you mentioned it in my moonlight mode thread... how did I miss hearing about that lovely thing? Maybe I need TWO more AAA lights! :broke:

I've heard great things about the LiteFlux. The firmware that the LF2XT operates on is very powerful, and capable of being fully programed. One CPF modder even makes replacement titanium bodies with sapphire lenses and trits for this light (very nice, very expensive). Many users swear by this light as the ultimate EDC, I'm going to have to grab one eventually, but that's going to have to wait until after my new Nailbender D36 build :D.
