Bretheren,

I've had an SF C2 for awhile. Recently put a Malkoff LED dropin in it, and was blown away by how much light I now have at my disposal.

I'm hoping to find a replacement tailcap for my C2 that will let me add a fast strobe to the light. Ideally, here's what this tailcap would have:

- A clickie on/off with easy access to the strobe (best for me would be press and hold).

- Ability to tailstand, 'cause it's cool.

- A finish that matches my C2's HA greenish color.

Any recommendations for a tailcap that would have some or all of those features? Been looking, but haven't found anything.

If there's an existing thread on this issue, please feel free to direct me there. I'm a newbie here, and I can never seem to make the search function work all that well for me. So if I missed a discussion of strobes, please just send me there.

Thank you a thousand times!

Hmmm...that's a stumper for me. There's this one but it says incan only. Don't know why. Maybe someone more electronically enlightened can chime in.

I would love to see something like that myself!

One of the things I like most about my Gladius is the strobe feature. It has fallen from the graces as and EDC because I can not find a good pocket clip for it and I don't like using holsters for my torches.

I have 2 of the G&P A.I strobing tail caps, and while they work fine (funtionally quite good) both of mine suck juice from the batteries even when the light is not on. That is in the off state both my tailcaps registered above 5volts on the Voltage metre.
The reason I found this out was a couple of brandnew sets of batteries I had went Dead really fast( one set seemed more or less overnight).
I have read of others having this problem also.
Using rechargeables may not be such an issue, but I stopped using the tailcaps as who wants to pick up their torch only to find out the batts are dead.
Sure you can unscrew it a bit to lock it out, but for me this was so inconvenient( not as simple to do as the standard surefire tailcap)...when u want to pick up your light and use it straight away...??
I dont know if all g&p ai tailcaps are like this........just though u should know.
