I've read a few threads on here and the flashlights I think so far to consider are: Something from Fenix (say TK41 or LD41, etc.) or from Olight (maybe M30 or M3X, but may be too much?)

One thing I wondered though is, can I find a flashlight that meets all these requirements below, but also runs off of say a LiPo battery? I have a 24v 1000w 20amp LiPo charger that cost me like $350 that I use for my R/C trucks, so it has big power. I thought perhaps running off LiPo may provide the power I need, but also give me the ease of just re-charging rather than buying new batteries?

Primary purpose is to have it for my desert shooting trips that are out in the middle of nowhere. I want to be able to shine it out say 50-100yds and be able to see things out there extremely well. I can see needing another light perhaps to see things in a more flood manor up close within 10 yards inside camp?

I'd go for a Zebralight - H600 maybe, that could be used as both headlamp, and a hand held light too.
 
With your responses on the form, you have a LOT of options available to you.

If you don't have a lot of experience with high end lights, I'd recommend avoiding P60 hosts and modules, as well as anything that requires li-ion rechargeables. Unless you really want to get into it, you'll just be making your life more complicated.

That said, I think a 4xAA or 8xAA light is probably going to be your best bet. I'd suggest you look at a Jetbeam PA40 or a Fenix TK41 or TK45. I'd give the nod first to the PA40, as it is the least expensive and has the simplest user interface. It also comes with a nice holster that you don't have to unbuckle to put on your belt, can be put on a pack if you want, and comes with a lanyard. It'll be lighter too.
 
If the TK41 is too big, an ld41 seems to fit what you need pretty well.

If I could only have one light, it would be the LD41.
If I could have two lights, I'd want an LD22 and an E40.


The LD22 is a nice floody general use light, the E40 is a throw monster for AAs... good for 500-700 feet of usable light in total darkness, 300 in parking lots.
The LD41 is a little bit of both.
 
I agree, but from the the list of requirements it sounds like you need 2 separate lights. For example, edc and 300-700 lumens are incompatible requirements.

Normally edc is 1 cell in the 30-100 lumens range.

Maybe a Fenix ld12 combined with a ld41/tk41.

As for batteries AA nimh is usually the simplest option. The new Eneloop 1800 do well in the cold up to minus 20 deg Celsius.
